On behalf of the Society for Textual Scholarship and SAMLA, I wish to
send out a final reminder of the 15 June deadline for the following
call for papers.

Call for papers

Society for Textual Scholarship affiliated session, SAMLA, Louisville
Hyatt Regency, Kentucky; 7-9 November 2008

Interpretation and the scene of editing:

This session welcomes proposals on the scholarly editing of literary
texts, broadly conceived. Possible topics include (but are not
limited to, naturally) editing as interpretation; textual instability
and problems in textual construction; the editing of Selected Works
or Collected Works; editing the modernists; material textuality; the
interpretation and reproduction of bibliographic codes; electronic
editing; radiant textuality; the uses of electronic archives. Please
send 200-word abstract by 15 June 2008 to Jonathan Allison by email
at jalliso-AT-uky.edu or at the Department of English, University of
Kentucky, Lexington, KY 40506-0027.
