Experience with XML-based documentary editions, in particular hands-on
management of workflow for born-digital and/or letterpress conversions, is
particularly desirable; and/or experience with similar archival digital
humanities projects. Skills in XML-related tools and languages (oXygen editing
environment; XSLT/XQuery) would be especially helpful, along with any other
familiarity with programming languages and command-line tools for textual
manipulation and querying. The successful candidate will have opportunities to
collaborate with other DH entities at UVA (such as IATH, the Center for Digital
Editing, and the new School of Data Science).
