        Subject: A new font for Christian Palestinian Aramaic

Dear Colleagues,

Alain J. Desreumaux and I are happy to announce that, together with our
colleagues from Forme.ch, Tim Meylan and Jérémy Formaz, and Alphabet Type in
Berlin, we have created a new font for Christian Palestinian Aramaic. The list
of forty characters was developed in dialogue with Unicode's SAH group
(https://www.unicode.org/notes/tn52).

The birth of this new font will be celebrated on May 3 at a conference on the
New Testament in Christian Palestinian Aramaic to be held at the IPT in Paris;
