Subject: Digital Enlightenment Studies journal launch
Dear Humanist colleagues,
We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new digital humanities journal,
Digital Enlightenment Studies. DES is an open-access, international, peer-
reviewed online scholarly journal published by the Voltaire Foundation
(University of Oxford), dedicated to the application and exploration of new
digital methodologies and resources for the interdisciplinary field of
eighteenth-century studies. We are delighted to announce that the first issue is
available to read now, and includes an article by Humanist’s own Willard
McCarty, among other highlights.

Please share the link with interested colleagues. We look forward to receiving
submissions (in English or in French) for future issues!
Best wishes,
Glenn Roe, for Nicholas Cronk, Alison Oliver, and Gillian Pink
