Subject: Georgetown postdoc
The Massive Data Institute (MDI) and the McCourt School of Public Policy
seek a postdoctoral fellow with research interests at the *intersection of
social media, generative AI, computational methods, and politics*. The
Postdoc Fellow is expected to engage only in research.
The postdoc will be part of a project led by Professor Lisa Singh (Computer
Science & McCourt School of Public Policy), Tiago Ventura (McCourt School
of Public Policy), and Leticia Bode (Communication, Culture, and
Technology) titled Generative AI, Humanness, and Misinformation in the 2024
U.S. Presidential Election. The project will focus on assessing 1) the
veracity and 2) the humanness of election-related content shared on various
social media platforms.
