It is dedicated to the study of memory work and its social and material infrastructures (e.g. commemorative initiatives, independent archives, museum collections), especially in the context of post-migrant societies and entangled global histories. The research examines forms of memory work and its significance for knowledge production and social participation and exclusion as well as the intersection between memory and human-environment relations. We are looking to expand the team and hire a doctoral student. Teaching is optional.
