George Mason University Cultural Studies Colloquium Fall 2025 on GMU-TV
Special thanks to the CIPS (CHSS Interdisciplinary Program Support) fund, the
Department of Modern and Classical Languages, the College of Humanities and
Social Sciences, University Life and GMU-TV for generous assistance.
The Cultural Studies Colloquium enters its fourth decade, airing fresh
scholarship at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences. An
intellectual centerpiece of the program, our events are free, open to the public
and wil be livestreamed by GMU-TV.
ABOUT US:
An international leader in the field of Cultural Studies and drawing on faculty
from ten different units at George Mason, our PhD program offers a cohesive
curriculum examining dialectical relationships among media and new media, social
institutions like gender and race and the class character of capitalist
societies.
