Thank you Maurizio for your response- I have shared your comments with the
student.
My understanding is that the intention is to speculatively propose a design
intervention, if appropriate, that could potentially improve the experience
with these tools, rather than develop a new one from scratch. The feedback
is good as it can help the student reflect on how they could have worded
their data collection instruments better.
The survey can be followed up by an interview for participants who opt in,
where more constructive feedback like this could be provided.
By the way Zotero was contacted directly for feedback and participation
early on.
