Subject: Re: Using agentic AI for research tasks
Dear Willard,
I recently wrote a blog post reporting on testing the use of agentic AI
(the Fellou.ai browser) to start a research project on gathering
definitions of the humanities--a goal that seems like a good test of
agentic AI for reasons I indicate: “Humanities Definitions Research
Project: An Experiment with Agentic AI”
experiment-with-agentic-ai/).
I am seeing the new agentic tools as potentially very useful (with
limitations) especially for primary research tasks involving the discovery,
ordering, analysis, and structuring of further research about sprawling,
not well bounded, or hard to define materials across multiple domains,
media, and platforms.
I'd be interested if others have experience with the new agentic AI tools
such as Fellou.ai for research and can amplify, or disagree with, my sense
of their capabilities/limitations.
--Best wishes, Alan
