Subject: Registration Open: DHSI Seminar on Digital Humanities Leadership (June 2026)
Join me along with Glen Layne-Worthey & Ray Siemens this summer for a
week-long institute on Digital Humanities Leadership
<https://dhsi.org/2025/09/30/foundations-dh-leadership-dhsi-2026/>
at the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) in Montreal, Canada!
This seminar is intended for those in, or those considering, leadership
roles in Digital Humanities including leads for collaborative or team
projects, academic programs, and administrative roles requiring a broad,
deep understanding of DH in terms of resource allocation, professional
advancement, integration with institutional mission, and strategic planning.
In other words, you don't need to be a dean, chair or director to join us!
In addition to visiting other Week 1 seminars to get a general sense of DH
needs and capacious definition, we'll host guests (administrators,
scholars, etc.) who have been successful at finding the funding, building
from scratch, and supporting teams.creating community-based
mission/strategic plans.
DHSI also offers scholarships <https://dhsi.org/scholarships/> for both
students and non-students. Early registration is now open until January
2025.
Please email me with questions and spread the word to anyone else
interested in taking on leadership roles.
Hope to see you in Montreal this June 2026!
~Kathy
