Subject: Re: [Humanist] 39.215: 'Archiving Machines' on open access?
Dear Humanist
Apparently the MIT website link for the Open
Access version of Amelia Acker's book 'Archiving
Machines' is broken, but the following direct
link works:
https://direct.mit.edu/books/oa-monograph/6055/Archiving-MachinesFrom-Punch-
Cards-to-Platforms
Initially for me this spun its wheels for a long
time before deciding that I am human and that my
connexion is sufficiently secure, and asking
me to 'unblock Cloudfare', but it got over these
obstacles on its own and led to another page
from where the book could be downloaded.
Regards
Gabriel Egan
