        Subject: JJADH: Vol 8 published and CFP for Vol 9 released

Announcement, please circulate widely

The Journal of the Japanese Association for Digital Humanities (JJADH),
is a peer reviewed and open access journal published through JSTAGE, the
platform for scholarly publications in Japan. We have just released Vol
8, which can be accessed at

At the same time, we also released a call for papers for the upcoming
Vol. 9, which is scheduled to be released in Oct. 2026, available here:

https://www.jadh.org/jjadhv09cfp

The JJADH is not limited to Japanese studies. The editorial board
encourages international submissions and will consider papers pertaining
to DH on a broad range of disciplinary interests. We are also welcoming
proposals for special issues with papers that cluster on a similar
topic. We provide peer review, careful copy editing and publication as
open access without any fees, as a service to the scholarly community by
the Japanese Association for Digital Humanities.

We are looking forward to receiving submissions on topics of interest
from the broadening community of scholars and practitioners in the
Digital Humanities.
