Subject: Get involved with EADH... Electing new members to the EADH Executive Committee – Deadline: 28 May 2025
Hi Folks,
After a fallow period, the European Association for Digital Humanities are
regenerating, and getting organised. As a result, they need 4 new members to
join the Exec Committee.
This is an excellent role for those wishing to contribute to the wider DH
community, and for those DHers looking for evidence of “international standing”
for career progression or annual reviews, it very much ticks those boxes, so can
be useful to you, too.
I’m not currently serving on the Exec - but I did so for a number of years. On a
personal note, I made many great friends across Europe, and met people I went on
to collaborate with on projects large and small. It taps you into a wonderful,
collegiate network of DH folks - so I would recommend it to anyone who is
looking for a way to contribute beyond their own institution. It’s not terribly
onerous - a few committee meetings per year - and can be great fun, in seeing
behind the scenes of the journal, small grant process, and international DH
conference.
Do apply!
Thanks,
Melissa

Subject: [Eadh-topics] Electing new members to the EADH Executive Committee –
Deadline: 28 May 2025
Dear EADH Members,
This is a warm reminder that nominations are still open for four (4) new members
to join the EADH Executive Committee for the 2025–2028 term. The deadline to
submit your candidacy is 28 May 2025. As EADH continues its relaunch, this is a
pivotal moment to help shape the direction of our Association and support the
growth and visibility of Digital Humanities across Europe and beyond.
Joining the Executive Committee is more than a formal responsibility — it’s a
chance to actively contribute to the future of our community. By serving, you
have the opportunity to strengthen the European DH network, advocate for
inclusive and open practices, and take part in defining strategic initiatives
with real impact. It’s also a meaningful way to build lasting connections and
grow as a leader in an international, collaborative environment.
We warmly encourage you to consider standing or nominating a colleague. Your
voice and energy can make a real difference in the direction and development of
Digital Humanities in Europe.
