        Subject: loss of academic funding

The organisation Educopia is running a workshop whose funding has
expired or 'dried up'. See
<https://educopia.org/blog/loss-of-funding-workshop-series/>. Someone at
Educopia sent an advert about this to Humanist. The activity and
organisation seem well-intentioned, but the tone of the note is so
thoroughly commercial as to raise concerns. Comments about this would be
helpful.

Best,
WM
