Subject: lost postings
Dear colleagues,
If, like Andreas Gálffy (Humanist 39.297), you fail to see your posting
to Humanist appear the next day, kindly assume that it has been lost in
the flood of bounced messages through which I must wade each morning.
Such loss is very difficult to prevent. Again, I never hold back a
message without telling the person who posted it why I've done that.
Such holding back occurs very rarely--less than a dozen times in the
last 40 years. Only a 'fire in a crowded theatre' situation will move me
to do that.
All best,
WM
