Advanced Workflow for the Digitization of Archaeological and Epigraphic
Artefacts
This session explores innovative workflows for the digitization and digital
reconstruction of archaeological and epigraphic artefacts. Case studies
include the 3D printing of the Lion of the Arsenal, the digitization of
Venetian inscriptions in Cyprus, and 3D models of artefacts from the
Museums of Altino and Pieve di Cadore. The session highlights how digital
technologies are transforming cultural heritage into shared, accessible,
and interactive experiences.

GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in Cultural Heritage Management
This session focuses on the role of GIS technology in mapping, monitoring,
and preserving cultural heritage. Through practical examples, participants
will learn how spatial data supports conservation efforts and improves
decision-making in heritage management.

Disaster Risk Management for Cultural Heritage: Case Studies
This session presents real-world applications of disaster risk management
strategies to protect cultural heritage from both natural and human-made
threats. Case studies will illustrate how coordinated efforts and technical
planning can reduce vulnerabilities and ensure the resilience of cultural
sites.

BIM (Building Information Modeling) for Cultural Heritage
This session presents Building Information Modeling as a powerful tool for

facilitates sustainable approaches to heritage preservation.
